my barcelona travel guide.

barcelona was the last leg of our european travels and i have to say we saved the best for last. the city is full of so much energy. everyone is super trendy, cool and surprisingly health conscience. there are juice stands on almost every corner, everyone walks or rides their bike and when the sun in shining, you'll find them at the beach showing off their insanely toned bodies {among other things}. and don't even get me started on the food...pretty much the best meals i have ever had!

i loved that you are in the city one minute and then take a 30 minute stroll through town and you're at the beach! we were there for 5 days an in that small amount of time, i'm pretty sure we saw every tourist spot there was to see, including: a barcelon fc match, all antonio gaudi architecture {most importantly the sagrada familia}, the beach, park guelle, park ciutadella, montjuic cable car, fat tire bike tour, and literally walked the about 7 miles one day exploring the entire city. these are all must-do's if you are ever in barcelona.

as for the food, make sure to check out sensi bistro for the MOST amazing tapas you will ever have. any of the beach bars are great for sangria and a snack. stay on las ramblas if you can because you can walk out your front door and have everything front of you, including great food and shopping. drinks on the roof top at sky bar at grand hotel central.

we literally landed in barcelona from italy and went straight to the soccer match, which was a whirl wind but such a fun experience!
